My stay at The Westbury had its ups and downs. The hotel's location was perfect for accessing Dublin's main attractions, and the staff were friendly and efficient. However, I felt quite let down by the facilities, especially the lack of access to the bars and lounges during my stay, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the hotel atmosphere. Overall, while there were positives, the negatives left a mark on what was meant to be a special occasion.

Rooms

I appreciated the bright decor in my upgraded room, but it was smaller than expected. The bathroom wasn't ideal with a high tub step and faulty temperature controls, which made it rather inconvenient.

The staff were attentive and friendly throughout my stay, displaying great professionalism despite the hotel's busy atmosphere.

Breakfast the next morning was a highlight, with an abundance of choices and excellent service. However, I didn't manage to enjoy the hotel's bars due to lack of seating.

I was disappointed with the access to hotel facilities like the bars and lounges. It felt neglectful for a five-star hotel to lack reserved seating for its residents, especially during my birthday stay.

I had a pleasant stay at The Westbury. The location was really good, right at the heart of Grafton Street, making it easy to explore Dublin. However, I experienced some issues with the check-in procedure and a minor problem with room service. Overall, the service was attentive and welcoming, though there were a few hiccups that detracted from the experience.

My room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a large screen and comfortable bedding. I did notice a slight odor in the bathroom, which was a bit off-putting. Overall, the cleanliness was impressive, with nightly turn-down service adding a special touch.
Service

The staff were very helpful and attentive throughout my stay. From greeting at the front desk to assisting with my shopping bags, they went out of their way to provide excellent service. There was a moment when the reception staff seemed a bit unsure, but it was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise friendly environment.
Location

The hotel's location on Grafton Street is unbeatable, right in the center of shopping and dining options. I loved stepping out and immediately being amidst the hustle and bustle of Dublin. It made the trip so much easier and more enjoyable.
Dining

Dining options were impressive, with the Wilde restaurant serving really good meals. However, I found room service a little excessive in price for what was offered. I ended up enjoying breakfast at Balfes, which provided great food without the extra cost of delivery.
Facilities

The hotel offered a range of convenient facilities, like valet parking and room service. My requests were generally handled well, although there were a few hiccups, like the slow breakfast delivery and some issues with ice requests. Nonetheless, the overall atmosphere of the hotel was inviting.

I had a good stay at The Westbury Hotel in Dublin, marked by its prime location and attentive service. The room was clean and although not overly spacious, it was well-equipped with amenities like a US outlet, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, I did encounter some issues with the bed's firmness that affected my comfort during the night. Overall, I'd say it was a solid experience with a few room for improvements.

My stay at The Westbury was quite enjoyable with really good service and a central location, though I did encounter a few hiccups that affected my overall experience. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive (especially Joseph and Kevin), and the food in the Wilde restaurant was delicious. However, I found the bed in my room to be uncomfortably firm, which made for a less than restful night. Additionally, I had a frustrating experience with the room service and breakfast service that detracted from the stay.

Dining experiences like the exquisite dinner at Wilde and relaxing afternoon tea were highlights. However, I found the high breakfast prices disappointing, given the overall luxury of the hotel.
